		<description>McLuhan's work began by understanding the battle between those who wished to teach using grammar as the basis (that the world could be read as a book or the word of God) and those who wished to teach using dialectics ( that the world could be classified and objectified ie like science today)he was interested in teaching models!
I don't think that he in his later analysis thought that we could go with the flow or that the flow was benign. Every technology creates an environment, says mcLuhan, and those environments have services AND dis-services!</description>
